Nice to see you all again! From now on, I will be posting every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you sign up for the email list, you will be notified when the new post is published.
Robert Langdon is a college professor who teaches symbolism at Harvard and is well known by wis books and work. Late at night he is called to a research facility in Switzerland. At first Langdon dismisses the call as a waste of his time, but when the caller sends him a photo of an arcane symbol branded on the chest of a murdered scientist. Langdon discovers the Illuminati are plotting against the Catholic Church because of a rivalry that has existed for a millennia. Langdon pairs up with Vittoria Vetra to stop not only the Illuminati, but also an extremely powerful bomb hidden in the Vatican. Langdon and Vittoria embark on a mission, passing through catacombs, abandoned cathedrals and even the long-lost Illuminati lair.
This book was fast-paced and intense and exciting. I LOVED how this book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Angels and Demons also constantly kept my brain working, trying to comprehend the problem-solving the characters were doing. The other two books in the series were really great too, though Angels and Demons are my favorite because there was ALWAYS action.
I hope you try this book out because it is AWESOME! I also hope you will come back on Wednesday for another book review!
